joining an empire

help a newb

i can't find where you can join an empire within the metaverse. Anyone point me to where it is in the web site?

To Create your Own Empire: Under the Accounts Menu, click on "Edit My Empire" ( http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=manageempire )

If you wish to join an empire visit the empires page (ie: http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=empire&id=21 ).  Currently most of the Empires are not visible from the high scores page because all the scores have been reset.  Under the empire logo there will be a "Join Empire" button if the empire is allowing new players to join.

We should note that you have to be logged in and have a character created prior to joining an empire

go to the metaverse tab on the side and then click onany empire there. You will see a link to 'join empire'.

hey, I got old post runing like they were posted yesterday! nice going for the Diplomates, they were 1 in GC1? (empire rank)?

Actually, the Diplo's (in the form they are now) is a blending of several different empire's players from the first Metaverse. (I'm sure I'll leave some out, but here goes anyway)...

Diplomats
Galactic Guardians
Foundation
Canadian Star Federation
Aldarians (Did Moser join the diplo's?)
