Galactic Civilizations II is less than a week away.  And we will be putting out a demo of the game after it's released.  But we wanted to put some quick gameplay stuff out there.  This is just a little thing we made that shows how the main UI works.

I could probably watch gameplay movies of this all day. I would love to see more gameplay of fleet battles, those never get old. How about a movie of a HUGE battle?

Ahhhh... so nice to see it come alive with animation. Screenshots never do a good game real justice. To answer your question, I'm not sure I found it "useful". Informative and interesting, yes; useful, no (especially if you were to ask my employer). That said, my vote for more is:

No wonder the Drengin hated the humans... half the population was probably pronouncing their race name wrong!


 For that reason I am today announcing the formation of the Campaign for Reconciliation and Understanding of Drengins (CRUD). When even Brad is insulting them with his soft Dren-jin pronounciation, we must take the initiative and make the effort to soothe their hurt feelings. Our first and primary goal is thus the stamping out of this insulting speech affectation and we will campaign to universalize the pronounciation of the Drengin name with its proper hard "g" usage. 'Drengin to rhyme with "begin"' is our motto.  Of course this is only an approximation to how a true native of Drengi would speak but the human throat cannot truly do justice to the glottal r. Join CRUD now and bring peace to the universe!
