I think she's got that flight reflex down pretty good. Practice is not required. But you guys have a difficult time what with the thinking. I understand. 

Best way to protect them is to teach them. And to teach them you must put them to the test.

My daughter screams real high pitched, but she'll also throw a punch or kick.  I even taught her how to turn an attacker into a victim if they grab her from behind.  I'm confident in knowing that even if I'm not around, some fool is gonna be laying on the ground crying like a bitch if he touches my little girl.  She broke two of my fingers while I was teaching her.  I'm so proud of her sometimes.  =)))))))))

I am the oldest of 9 children... and sometimes my little brothers will wake up in the middle of the night and just scream and cry for an hour...

I'm guessing that they have bad dreams or something, but I feel so bad for my parents who get up and take care of them every single time. I did try to help once, but that brother didn't want me, he only wanted mom.

Wow     You are so fortunate. I would have had that many kids for sure, if I could have..... circumstances.... It's fine. I have one awesome young man for a son. As you will be. Are. 

And don't say that. You have no idea how much I wish my big brother was here. You, even if you feel like you can't help, do. 

Just offering to help relieves the pressure for your mom. And siblings. No idea how much on the Richter scale. lol  

As an oldest in a pack of siblings I can sympathize. Just be the bigger brother there when they need you. Even if they don't think they need you.

I am a middle child. Older sister, younger brother. I like it there. Someone to give me guidance and someone to give guidance to. 

Life is good.

Plus the middle child is the most spoiled.

Apparently the oldest has the hardest time.  They practice on the older ones, they have more of a sense of responsibility, by the time the baby of the family arrives..... well, let's just say they get all the good stuff.  The one in the middle can be forgotten the Ryat....  Good thing I've always been colorful.    

That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.  

Depends on the gender. My sister was the middle child. So she was spoiled as the only daughter.

Must admit to a little jealousy. Sounds pretty sweet.  

Well about as spoiled as my parents allowed (read very little), heck they paid for all three weddings. Guess my brother's and I plans of marrying a poor girl with no father worked great for that.

Any excuse for a party... hehe   I got married in a park.  Pretty.  

Never really got a honeymoon. Was back to work by the second day. Its complicated.

North to Alaska was my honeymoon destination. Fairbanks.    We drove. Took long ferries etc. I must admit that the tv show Northern Exposure had a little bit to do with it.. haha     

That sounds like fun. Both the wifey and I love snow. I just don't want to work in it.
