Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Condescending Obama Supporters

Are you smart enough to support Obama?

By Posted May 12, 2008 20:27:20

I am annoyed with the continual condescension of Obama supporters.  When Hillary won Pennsylvania, it was because of "stupid old people" voting for her.  Now that she's leading West Virginia, it's because "stupid hillbillies still think Obama is Muslim".  Therefore, the "stupid hillbillies" shouldn't have the right to vote.  Ack!  It just makes me want to scream.

Whenever Hillary wins its because of the voters stupidity or Rush Limbaugh.  Maybe there is a third option that some people WANT Hillary to be President.  Those people then vote for her.  Imagine that, people voting for who they consider to be the best candidate.

I guess there is a intelligence test that must be taken before you decide to support Obama.  Obviously, all of the smart people are 100% behind Obama.  The thing that gets me is who do they think they are winning to their cause, which I would assume is the Obama presidency?  I don't know that people decide to change their vote because someone called you stupid.

The smart people are 100% behind John McCain.

Choice of president is important, but subjective, and has no weighing on intellect.

I don't agree with that.  I think people should make an educated vote on the issues.  It's just annoying that the intelligence of anyone who disagrees is questioned.  The whole if you don't think what I do you must be stupid argument.

The smart people are 100% behind John McCain.

snicker, snicker - lol.  The Republicans don't even like John McCain.

"stupid old people" voting for her.

Funny how the only people I ever heard make comments like that were HILLARY supporters claiming Obama supporters were saying that.

"stupid hillbillies still think Obama is Muslim"

Again see my earlier comment.

I don't know that people decide to change their vote because someone called you stupid.

AGAIN, Who called you stupid?

BTW, I notice you stopped repeating the Hillary lie about Florida. Have you finally figured out that the Florida Dems did this to themselves?

Whenever Hillary wins its because of the voters stupidity or Rush Limbaugh. Maybe there is a third option that some people WANT Hillary to be President. Those people then vote for her. Imagine that, people voting for who they consider to be the best candidate.

And maybe when she wins it is because of voters of the other party that want her there because she's the candidate more likely to inspire votes for their favored candidate in the end.

Keep pissin' in the wind Loca.  She (H.R.C.) will likely win W.Va because of a bunch of stupid racist voters.  W.Va is the home of Robert Byrd and has been the KKK capital of the world for decades.  Expecting the majority of the voters there to be open minded is looking for a miracle, at least at this point in the race.

Pennsylvania? You want to go back there?  Sure, have at it.  She won in the rural areas.  Areas that border places like, uh, W.Va.  She lost in the cities, she lost to the young voters, and won among voters that are dieing off in the party.

H.R.C. is old news.  If you want her, you can have her.  If you want to see something good come of the Democratic party, you don't want her though.  You want the guy that is bringing in the youth voters and you want to drop the hatred and lose the lies that have been told about him as well.  Ask yourself how many H.R.C. supporters are out sewing seeds of the idea that Obama is a muslim, radical Black man that must be having dinner and nightly court with Louis Farrakhan.

That's not really condescension, per se, Amy, but I do see where you're going.

I just wish they'd get on with it and get a nominee rather than let McCain sit back and pick his nose for the next month and a half.

BTW, I notice you stopped repeating the Hillary lie about Florida. Have you finally figured out that the Florida Dems did this to themselves?

The Florida Republicans are the ones that passed the legislation to move the primary date up.  The Florida and Michigan voters votes should count.  Is this the Hillary lie?

Funny how the only people I ever heard make comments like that were HILLARY supporters claiming Obama supporters were saying that.

Here's the latest article that aggravated me enough to write this blog.  Believe me there are many more.

condescension - patronizingly superior behavior or attitude - I think it fits the "we're smarter than you because we vote for Obama, you must be stupid if you're not voting for Obama" attitude that I'm talking about here.

You want the guy that is bringing in the youth voters and you want to drop the hatred and lose the lies that have been told about him as well.

I might get that guy but I don't want him.  I have not told any lies about him because there are plenty of facts that don't wash with his portrayed image.  The Obama campaign wants to pretend that it takes the high road and is above the "petty politics" but they play the game just as well.  Look at the mailings they have sent.  They have villified and lied about Hillary Clinton.  They have not only attacked her positions  but her character as well.  Yes, I do still want Hillary and I'm not giving up on her until she calls it quits.

She (H.R.C.) will likely win W.Va because of a bunch of stupid racist voters.

This is exactly the attitude I am talking about.  If they don't vote for Obama, they must be stupid, racist or both.

Not true! Conservatives dont like him. Republicans do.

But more to your article, welcome to the dark side of the liberal MSM. If nothing else, at least some people are now seeing how biased they truly are.

The Florida and Michigan voters votes should count. Is this the Hillary lie?

If you are saying that they should count then you are LYING.a

FACT: A DEMOCRAT PROPOSED CHANGING THE DATE

FACT: ONLY ONE DEMOCRAT VOTED AGAINST IT.

FACT: HILLARY HERSELF SAID THEY WOULD NOT COUNT

FACT: THE FLORIDA DEMS WERE TOLD IF THEY EVEN VOTED AGAINST IT THEN THERE WOULD BE NO PUNISHMENT

FACT: THE DNC RULES ALLOW THEM TO LEVY THE PUNISHMENTS GIVEN.

I'm just curious, under what set of circumstances were the Florida Dems wrongfully punished?

Rebuttal to this article can be found here: Why it looks like anti-Hillary crowd is condescending

I'm just curious, under what set of circumstances were the Florida Dems wrongfully punished?

I was talking about Florida Democrat voters.  They were punished by not having their votes counted.

If you are saying that they should count then you are LYING.a

Exactly where did you get your FACTS from?

Fact - a Florida majority Republican legislature passed this legislation.  Democrats are outnumbered 2 to 1 by Republicans in the Florida legislature.

Fact - Florida State Democrat House and Senate leaders introduced amendments to change the primary date to February 5 which failed on a voice votes but MOST Democrats voted for them.

Fact - Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina all violated the same DNC rule with no repercussions.

Fact - The DNC rules allow for 50% of the delegates to be removed not 100%.

Fact - Rep. David Rivera, REPUBLICAN, sponsored the bill to change the primary date.

Fact - The Florida Democrats voted for this bill because it had attached a provision to require Florida elections to have a paper trail.

May 15, 2008 09:59:42
where did you get your FACTS from?

The DNC Rules and the Florida legislature. See I went by what actually happened rather than what the Hillary Campaign wants to lie about having happened.

Fact - a Florida majority Republican legislature passed this legislation.

Irrelevant, the Democrats were told that if they voted against the bill there would be no punishment.

Fact - Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina all violated the same DNC rule

Actually thats a lie, they had permission to have their contests prior to that date. But why go with reality when the Hillary propaganda is so much more convenient.

Fact - The DNC rules allow for 50% of the delegates to be removed not 100%.

Actually he was a cosponsor. the main democratic proponent was Senator Jeremy Ring.

Again ANOTHER LIE. The DNC rules mandate a MINIMUM of 50% of the delegates to be removed but it allows for additional punishment.

Per the ACTUAL rules (ie what the rules are, not what Hillary propaganda wants you to believe they are

Under the DNC delegate selection rules, if a state party’s plan violates the rule with respect to timing, the number of its pledged delegates—those delegates awarded proportionally to candidates based on the primary or caucus results—is automatically reduced 50%(without any action by the RBC or DNC); no member of the DNC can attend the Convention as a delegate; no Member of Congress can attend the Convention as a delegate; and if applicable, the state’s Democratic governor can not attend the Convention as a delegate. In addition, any presidential candidate who campaigns in the state for the event in violation of the rules cannot receive any pledged delegates from that state. In addition to these automatic sanctions, the DNC RBC has authority under the rules to impose additional sanctions, including further reductions in the state’s delegation.

Read the ACTUAL rules WWW Link

Fact - The Florida Democrats voted for this bill because it had attached a provision to require Florida elections to have a paper trail.

And WHY they violated the rules changes the fact that they violated the rules HOW?

Fact - Rep. David Rivera, REPUBLICAN, sponsored the bill to change the primary date.

Actually it was Jeremy Ring, DEMOCRAT, WWW Link
