The Philadelphia debate proves what we all knew

Neither candidate was impressive during the debate. When that happens the media goes to the play book and changes the story.

Neither Senator Clinton nor Senator Obama was able to answer honest questions without stumbling and seeming like they did not know that the American people would want to know their thoughts or opinions on these topics.

The front runner Senator (empty suit) Obama does not know anything about economics suggesting that his presidency would be as economically successful as President Carter’s Administration. This was so obvious to the media wing of the liberal left they changed the story from two incompetent liberals to how unprofessional the moderators were. The big stories were not what the two incompetent Senators said but how dare those right wing moderators ask such stupid questions for 45 of the 60 minute debate.

The next big batch of stories that followed were not that Senator Obama could not answer a question but that he was attacked by the moderators asking questions based off of comments he made.

And the last batch of deflecting questions was Senator Clinton highlighting the fact that Senator Obama was crying that he was being asked tough questions and felt he was unfairly treated. Not that she is a fascist and will destroy our country.

Did any news organization bother to cover the actual debate and what these two people will do to our country if elected?

Through out all the debates has any candidate expressed why they feel they are the best person for the job? What do they stand for? How do they plan to lead the nation? What are their goals for our nation? The answer to those questions will determine whom we should elect. No one seems to want to cover these important issues, instead they cover the moderators. I am not electing a moderator I am seeking information to better understand who is best to lead the nation, you know the job requires the president be the representative of our nation to the rest of the world. How will they do this? What are their long range goals for our nation, is it a direction that I agree with? Don’t know because no one can tell us what they want to do.

Yes, the two incompetent senators are against racism, being poor, and defending against lost jobs, but little of that is within the control of the executive branch. The president does not directly create or lose jobs, or end racism, or sexism. All the president can do is set the tones and the agenda for the people to tell the Congress which direction we should go. Congress makes the laws not the president.

During the presidency of George W. Bush, nations that were against us are now more friendly to us, he repaired most of the damage of the previous president while at the same time let business rebuild our economy by removing outlandish restrictions that strangled our nations economy which ended the recession. 96% of the nation is employed, do the math 300 million Americans and 96% have a job. The same percentage of home owners pays their mortgages and is not in trouble. 1.2 million People are not working, where is the economic disaster we hear of? All of this was done during a war on terror and a war from the democrat party both seeming to want to destroy our nation and our people. Is that why the media hide what the two Senators are saying by focusing on the moderators?

You, like the moderators, ask the wrong questions. It has nothing to do with deeds, but "feelings" and "intentions". After all, that is all the empty suits on the left care about.

You choice is simple. Who makes you "feel" good, and who has the best "intentions". results and plans be damned.

There were no honest questions, just an attempt at a hatchet job. You will notice they "forgot" to mention what they claimed was the number one issue till almost an hour into the debate.

I will add to your excellent article that the unwillingness of Obama to participate in any future debates demonstrates his in ability to think on his feet. He gets creamed in debates, but can just stump now and maintain his delegate lead. This is wise politics, but hardly a trait needed to run this nation.
