PM2004 - Serial Key for CD Purchase

Invalid key? Dog gone it.

Hey. In 2004, I saw a shiny new box at EB Games titled "The Political Machine" by Stardock and Ubisoft. I thought it looked cool and bought it. Now I want to register it and it says my key is invalid. That's what I get for waiting two years, huh? Crap. Is there help for me, or would I have to purchase the game all over again?

I bought a CD version of the original Political Machine at Wal-Mart or some other big box store a few years ago and it didn't have a registration key - just the one-sided insert with the name of the game, the jewel case, and the CD itself. Unfortunately I can't prove it (or mail in my CD for a registration key for the downloadable version), so I'm stuck with a legit version I can play, but can't update. Not quite the same situation, but it still sucks, considering I have the original jewel case still.

I am in the same boat as robotrevolution. Any thing we can do because I have all the original box and such but there is no such key for me to do an update. Stardock can see I have the game but will not let me update it. Please help us!!
